Aged, brittle, damaged brick or concrete
|
|
|
|
Solution:
In
these cases, high pressure water to clean after treatment
can lead to serious damage. The EnviroPrime/EnviroPeel
process will allow removal of the graffiti without using
high pressure water. The white pigment on the red brick
can be difficult to remove, however the EnviroPrime will
help lift this pigment away from the brick surface.
In the case of the concrete surface, paint overs have
not allowed the concrete to breathe and spalling has occured
during the freeze/thaw process during seasonal changes. |
1. |
Enviro-Penetrator
- Soak both surfaces with liberal amounts
of Enviro-Penetrator. Allow the product to
dwell for 20-30 minutes. Working the Enviro-Penetrator
into the pores with a stiff brush is recommended. |
2.
|
Enviro-Peel
- Apply a liberal amount of Enviro-Peel directly
over the treated surface and allow to dwell
an additional 30-45 minutes depending on how
heavy the graffiti is. |
3. |
Wash the area using low pressure water
under 500 psi to remove the graffiti. The surface may
be washed with a solution of our EnviroClean and water
and scrubbed with a stiff brush. Rinse the surface with
fresh water when completed. If shadows remain, repeat
the process. |

Graffiti on Painted Surfaces |
| |
|
Solution:
The
white pigments on the brown siding are more difficult
than other pigments due to the nature of the pigment size.
In this case, the application of Enviro Graffiti Gel may
be the better alternative. It will adhere to the vertical
surface allowing it to dwell over the graffiti prior to
removal. Testing the ease of removal with a liquid product
will determine if this is necessary. |

Graffiti
Removal Wipe - simply wipe away graffiti with
a single wipe (test surface prior to removal) Neutralize
surface with water when completed graffiti removal. |

Graffiti Remover is specially formulated for vertical
surfaces. Use the same procedure as you would with Enviro
Graffiti Remover. |

Graffiti on Block Wall |
|
|
Solution:
In
both cases, there are two options. The building may be
painted or stripped. If the natural block look is desired,
then coating with a RainGuard
anti-graffiti coating is recommended after the graffiti
is removed. The most economical solution to the painted
building is to repaint the complete building. |
1.
|
Enviro-Penetrator™/EnviroPeel™
- natural block is very porous. The most effective
way to remove graffiti is to apply the Enviro-Penetrator
liberally working it in to the pores using
a stiff brush. Allow the Enviro-Penetrator
to dwell a minimum of 15 minutes prior to
the application of Enviro-Peel. |
2. |
Apply
Enviro-Peel™ over the treated surface
and allow to dwell a minimum of 30 minutes.
Pressure wash with water at 1500 to 1800 psi.
Be careful not to hold the pressure washer
directly on the grout lines for extended period
of time. |
